Danny Trejo is a Mexican-American actor, born in Los Angeles in 1944, best known for playing villainous or anti-hero roles in films such as Heat, From Dusk Till Dawn, and Robert Rodriguez's Spy Kids franchise. After overcoming a troubled youth and time in prison, where he was a boxing champion, Trejo was discovered on the set of Runaway Train and began his extensive career in film and television. He is also a restaurateur with a popular chain of Trejo's Tacos and other ventures.
