On a cloudy summer evening, Ella and her friends travel to Ella’s family’s lake house, despite Ella never mentioning it before. Due to her past experiences at the lake house, between the weird noises and vibes and her younger brother’s drowning, coming back to the lake house has been the last thing on her mind. Her friends are beyond excited to see the lake for the first time and dip their toes in the water after a long summer day. It gets cloudier, and Ella is in a daze. To calm herself down, she makes a cup of tea, but her friends disappear, and Ella freaks out as this is the same way she lost her brother. Instead of calling for backup, she goes to confront the issue alone and is greeted by what took her brother from her.
