The Verdict Every score you see here was written without anyone knowing what the others would say. No groupthink. No piling on. Five independent voices, revealed all at once. Read the reviews, not just the numbers — that's where the real feedback lives.
Very Hitchcock!

I absolutely loved how you started it with the long take and added the credits upfront. That's spot on to the time period of Hitch! Some of your camera work was excellent. The rack focus on the foreground was great! I liked the premise of your story. That's a hard one to try and flip an audience like that in 5 min. Well done! There were a few cuts that were a touch long but nothing horrible. LOVE THE B&W! The acting was pretty good as well. Much better than we're used to seeing.
Anxiety in the Twilight Zone

I liked the choice of aspect ratio 1:33 to 1. It gave the B&W a nice period feel and changed the way shots were framed. The opening music and music around 4 mins really brought the Hitchcock. At 4:00, I was reminded of the old Twilight Zone episodes in B&W. That was nicely done. I think editing in the front half could have been tightened and Mila should have been more confident in the beginning for story. That said, I like the identity swap. It left a creepy feel that lingers. Bravo!
Great Effort with the Non-Linear

Nice job taking on a challenging format. Choosing a non-linear story isn't aways easy and you did a pretty good job with it. You really shined with your composition...way to embody Hitchcock there. Good attention to where you placed the camera. Now you just need to polish the script a bit more and rehears with your actors to really nail the performance. All that said, it was very apparent that you thought through your shots. Great opening sequence...just polish it a bit more. Smooth it out.
Highlighting a real problem.

This was an interesting topic and I think some people could relate. I really enjoyed the attention spent on sound design. The background transitions were mostly smooth and the choices in music were nice. The phone call was well done. Well done.

Lots of nice Hitchcock touches. Great font for your credits, black and white and 4:3 ratio. The concept you have here is a good one, you just need to tighten everything up. The editing, rehearse your actors more, the blocking etc. A nice effort here though. Keep honing your skills by making more and more films. That's how you get better.
