Loved This Concept!
I really thought this was one of the best concepts in the SkillsUSA contest. It was unique and some of the camera moves were creative and told the story very well. The acting stumbled a bit and wasn't believable. In fact, it pulled me out of the story far enough that it was hard to focus back on the story again. Still, I think these young filmmakers spent some time in development thinking about their story and I give them huge props for that!

Embodying Hitchcock
I really like where you were going with this. This is the beginning of something good. You were really starting to embody Hitchcock with some of your shots (the shadow of the cat) and techniques (using music to foreshadow the imaginary friend). Though Hitch would have cut away when the strangling would have happened. He would have shown the scarf going over the seat and then he would have cut outside the car or away from the action. A little more time rehearsing and you'll be well on your way.

That got dark quick
I like the idea of make believe becoming reality. It would have been fun to see a little news report about the park, the phone was hard to see. I think he has something for Terry at the end. Good effort and getting shots in the bright sunlight.

Preproduction Saves You in the End
You have a good idea here and to really make it great you need to spend a little more time in preproduction, really visualizing out how you're going to shoot it. This is a film that would really benefit from really detailed storyboards that outline every sing shot needed. Because timing and pacing is really critical, had your storyboarded out more coverage your editor would have been able to really do a better job creating tension and the suspension of belief. You're on the right path here.

Dialogue and Story Points
You have an idea here that if fleshed out could really be something but you need to take a little more time developing the script. As a note, some of the dialogue feels abrupt and a read through could really help smoothing that out. It will also smooth out the action. When you read it out loud sometimes the abruptness or the skipped beat will be more apparent. Look at the moment when the editor shows up at the swing and you'll see what I'm talking about. You've got potential. Keep filming.
