Cause for a Crime
CIA Special Agent Evelyn Porter goes undercover as assassin and burglar Anne Marie Watson to discover the plans of San Francisco crime boss Antony Valentino. After she is implanted in Valentino's organization by deep-cover agent John Robertson, Porter proves herself to Valentino and gains access to his inner circle. Porter eventually finds out not only what Valentino is planning, but also his nontraditional motives. After learning that Valentino's daughter, Violet, is fighting leukemia and needs the money Valentino steals to continue her treatment, Porter faces a dilemma of whether to betray Valentino and his daughter or turn her back on the CIA. Porter chooses to cut off contact with the agency and is thus declared a "rogue agent." Hours before the heist to save Violet's life, Valentino and Porter are dining at a restaurant when Valentino notices a red laser aimed directly at Porter's heart. Valentino selflessly dives in front of Porter and takes the bullet that was supposed to kill her. As his dying wish, he begs Porter to take care of his daughter. However, in a sad twist of fate, Valentino's wish is ruined when Porter is taken into custody by her former employer.

I Like Spies
This is a good idea and you did a pretty good job. If there was one note I could give you it would be that you can make a world of difference in your casting. If you have spies in your movie you have to cast spies. Students playing spies just doesn't work. I love the idea but you have to commit to it 100%. Casting older actors would have made all the difference for your movie. Then rehearse with your actors so that their acting is believable. That one thing would make a world of difference.
Go Big or Go Home
A very ambitious effort. I love the idea of going after a spy thriller. It's going big for sure but with that comes equal challenges. For it to be believable you have to work on a few of the elements. Areas where you could really dig deeper on are, lighting: those night scenes really need lighting so that you can see the actors and follow the action. Camera moves: plan them out, selling action is all about angles. Acting: rehears your actors more. Nice effort. You just need more details.
Teens Playing Adults
It's always hard to make a movie. It's even harder to do when you're young. It's even harder to do when you're a teen trying to play an adult. It never really works. Although the writing of this piece is pretty good, the fact that teenagers playing adults really pulls me out of the story. I think these filmmakers have some talent though and I'm interested to see what they make next.
Agents for Change
I very much like the ambition here though you might have bitten off more than was possible. You were certainly shooting for the stars on this one which is not easy but if you can't go all in then you'll leave your audience wanting more. Great effort on the script and putting the dust filter over the footage most certainly helped place the film back in time. Next time around really rehearse with your actors so that their performances can be a little more natural. Good effort.
Fun Concept!
The concept of this show is interesting. I wasn't a fan of the film scratches. Seemed out of place. The music didn't feel very Hitchcock-like. A few establishing shots of Valentino house and Evelyn's location would have been nice. It's hard to know where I am in the story without those. I like that you set a whole dinner scene but it would have been better if it was at night. I stand by the concept though, it is fun.
