The Verdict Every score you see here was written without anyone knowing what the others would say. No groupthink. No piling on. Five independent voices, revealed all at once. Read the reviews, not just the numbers — that's where the real feedback lives.

This film really had a lot of nice bits and pieces. I thought the opening shot was great. The title wipe on was clever. The acting felt staged and a bit stiff. I think there could have been a bit more backstory on the watch and why it was so important... or why the bad guy was so dangerous. A lot of the camera work and blocking worked really well. You can tell these filmmakers have a solid understanding of how to move the camera.

Such a great Hitchcockian shot used perfectly. The push pull was perfectly executed. Nice job. You really did so many things right: your lighting at night, your use of music to increase the tension, your camera moves, using slow motion to increase the suspense, the framing of your actors at the kitchen table and the list goes on. The only thing that I felt could have been so much better was the acting. Finding good actors is always hard but worth the effort. Rehears rehears. Great work.

This is a deeply flawed film, from writing to execution. This idea is solid, but the story needs to be re-worked into a believable plot. The acting was not believable and did not show any emotions. The main character was flawed because there were no redeeming values to him as a character. Think thru the ideas, plot points and rework the story in such a way that your audience would believe the characters and story. I think you have potential but you need to work on your story.
The chase is on.

I like that early in this film a chase happens and the music is heart pounding as you start to take the audience on an adventure. I wish the adventure kept the pace up though because the shots after the first run fall flat in comparison. Then at the end we have a great reveal of the trunk and another great chase. I like you took the audience on the chase and let us feel what the character was feeling. This had great music choices and I like the use of adults in the family scene. Good job.

The story was very well written. There was a great tease at the beginning and there was purpose behind every character.
I felt the camera work was really well done. The use of movement, rack focus and blocking really enhanced the story telling without distracting the character performances.
Nice Work!
