The Mystery Trail

average rating is 1.8 out of 5

The film is about the three teenager camping in the forest but then Ethan go missing and then Rylan and joe go walking together to find Ethan but Rylan the realized that joe is the murderer because Rylan know Ethan won't play a prank on them so I would that the moral of the story is to be careful who you trust.

Good Stuff, You Just Need More of It

average rating is 3.1 out of 5

When the killers boot comes into frame and you hit it with a music cue. That was perfect. You could have done a subtle music cue the first time we see him show up. Put a cue there that startles us a bit and tells the story of who he is. Put a transition in there so that it's clearly the next day. Great shot of the birds flying away. Maybe something similar wakes him up in the morning. Suggesting that something's uneasy. These are all small details but they add up and make a big difference.

Every Shot Has to Be Believable

average rating is 2.4 out of 5

Good idea here. You just need to take it a step further. Make sure every point of your plot is believable or shoot it in a way to make it thus. He says, "did he take the camera equipment?" (it's still there) Have that camera equipment gone and then when they walk off you shoot an angle from behind the tent where the camera equipment is in the foreground and they're leaving in the background. It increases tension. You had several moments like that that eroded your believability. They add up.

The Birds Part II

average rating is 2.8 out of 5

I loved the birds flying away... did you guys know what you were doing or did you just get lucky? Another age old story... unsuspecting hikers come across a strange individual in the woods and bad things happen. The only thing I didn't like was how the other guy just decided to take a nap in the middle of the day. I think it could have been better if shot at night as well. Still, they captured the suspense pretty darn well.

Ode to The Birds

You've got the beginnings of a great concept. The bones of the situation are perfect. Two guys out in the woods and a third person shows up. You could use a little more depth so once you have the concept, really work the development phase to add the needed layers. Great music. A job well done establishing the tension and creating those accent points to really keep your audience engaged. Great "birds" shot. You're off on the right foot. Just take a little more time developing next time around.

Nice Cinematography

average rating is 3.2 out of 5

I liked the Hitchcock-like long opening setup. I was impressed with how natural the actors were. The nap in the middle of the day seemed a bit odd and threw me a bit. The logic behind the two guys going for a hike to find the trail seemed a bit forced. This show has pretty decent cinematography. Everything is really well exposed.
