pig tail kids are creepy
Whew, this film is thrilling. I expected the kid to be creepy because she looks like an Anabel Doll with pig tails, but she did not disappoint. The twist in the middle is great and I think you did a great job with this script.
Erie.......
interesting idea, good production value. overacted though, could have made the little girl more creepy and when he saw the candle he should have reacted more and the audience should have had the opportunity to see the writing on the top of the candle. a good production but needs some work.
Slight of Camera
Very well done with using your excellent camera work to really build suspense. You are all very talented filmmakers. Great transitions. I really liked your slight of hand camera work with the appearing and disappearing of the little girl and great use of music. Hitchcock always dealt with tough subjects very cleverly. Hitch would deal with those themes off camera. Watch a few more of his films and see how he really kept that suspense without showing too much. Keep honing your skills.
Red Looks Good On You
Okay, I'm freaked out now. This one was a bit gorier than most Hitchcock films but it managed to really capture that suspense that he is so well known for. The story was really well developed and it shows. The little girl was chilling, especially with that smile at the end. All the actors were very convincing. When teenagers play adult roles it's hard to make it believable so you told a teen story that really played to your strengths. Great job! Look out for these young filmmakers!
Mr. Kubrick meet Mr. Hitchcock
I loved it! So many good things to say about this film. The acting from Jennison as the evil spirit was top notch. It felt like the Shining at times. The editing was really tight and tied in with the shooting to evoke a Hitchcock film, 'Rope' which was one continuous shot. I was genuinely fearful when he ran out of the house with Erie behind him. The story unfolded in a very organic way and really ratcheted up the tension as it went. I was very, very impressed and entertained. Great Job!
