Coffee Date
A young man finds himself falling in love with the girl down his street from the second he set eyes on her. It first started with him watching her run past his house day to day; then it escalated to following and watching her as she goes about her day. It's as he calls it, 'love at first sight', though not to sure is the woman will be able to see eye to eye with what he knows as love.

Great Opening!
The opening shot had me. I was ready to like this film within the first 5 seconds. The camera move, the music... all of it. It felt a bit jarring to cut to the second scene. Night scenes are always difficult. One trick is to shoot them just as the sun is going down, at the golden hour. This would have provided just enough light that you would have been able to see what was going on. Still, I thought that the coverage in this film was great and I liked it a lot.

The Coffee Dateee
The opening of your film really had me. Great music and a lot of great production design. After that point I got a little lost in what you were tying to say or where the action was going. Time is certainly a challenge in these competitions but really working the script and get it right before going to production otherwise you leave your audience wondering. Keep making films. You'll get better and better as you go.

Very well done
Great execution on all fronts. You didn't have to say much because you could show the story, I love not being told how to feel when watching a film. This did a great job. Great use of camera movement to tell the story as well.
I'm very impressed, and a little creeped out.
Well done.

Stranger Danger
This is a story we've seen many times. The stalker watching from afar. There are some moments in this that are quite good. There is a nice display of suspense but it never really pays off. The night scene really could have used some lights. You guys should have more contests that focus on lighting. I liked the acting and I'm curious to see what these young filmmakers make next.

Love the Details
Great opening. You told a lot of back story in one camera move and in the credit sequence. A great way to tell a lot in a little time. You did great even through the post of him starting to follow her. Nice cuts. Nice edit. From that point the story telling got a little minimal. I really wanted the plot to thicken and I just got more of the same. I know he's stocking her so expand on the plot from there. It's a little thin from that point. Good idea. Just needs more story development.
