I am so with the girl in this film. I cannot work with all that clatter especially the chewing!! I thought you did an excellent job with your sound design not only in your transitions between shots but with the choices you made with the sounds to keep compounding.

First of all nice going on all the sound design. A great effort there and the effect really worked. I loved seeing the detail you put there. Now jumping to cinematography...your exposure was pretty well done. Next time really go for having lights and darks in your film. Really give yourself some contrast in the frame. Roger Deakins is all about contrast and it makes a huge difference. Light it so that one side of their faces is dark and the other side light. Keep honing your skills

A really nice effort. I particularly liked your effort with the composition of your shots. Where your main character is in frame, you close up angles as the noises were becoming more and more. You used your frame well to tell the story. One note for you: you had a few shots where you used the zoom on your camera. Next time, instead of doing a zoom in camera, make that a camera move, a dolly move. Put the camera on a tripod on a rolling chair and you'll be amazed at the difference.

I liked this story quite a bit. Whoever did the sound design really should get an award. It was very nicely put together. The lighting, which is what this challenge was all about, was not as well-executed as other entries, however. Still, I give the directing and the editor high marks.

The Sound Design!

This was a pretty well thought out concept from start to finish. Not simple to pull off at all. Yet these young filmmakers made it work. And what made it work so well was the sound design. There is a seminar and a challenge coming up that deals with sound design but this one was about cinematography. The images were pretty well composed but were often times, due to the lighting in the room, not exposed well. There were so many setups it would have been hard to light each of them so quickly
