Poultry Hunting
A TV show about bird watching goes horribly wrong when Juergen Juergensen goes out into the forest of Raven Oaks and finds the Turkeys that reside there. This is set in a world where Turkeys are crime lords and bloodthirsty monsters, so watch out! The show is hosted by Doger Reakins.

Looks like this was fun to make
I can tell the crew and cast had a blast making this project. I like your choice to embrace the natural light of the forest.

Much More Than a Paltry Effort
Very creative writing effort. It's very apparent that you spent some time writing your script and it shows so great effort there. You created some great characters. Being part of a cinematography competition I would have love to have seen you using some outdoor lighting techniques. Using some diffusion to soften the hard light and a bounce card to give some kicker light to your subjects would have made a big difference with the end result. Just take a little more time when it comes lighting.

Very Clever or Should I Say Very Cleaver
Your film was quite fun to watch. Great camera work with the steady cam and loved how you shot and edited the disappearing of our investigative reporter. You did a great job there. My suggestion to you is to really pay attention to the details. Shooting outside isn't always easy to polish the lighting but then again it can be done very simply. I would have loved to have seen a little more attention there. That being said, you did a great job. Polish, polish, polish makes the difference.

Butterball Butchery Company
Okay, I'll admit it, the BBC bit made me laugh. Very clever! This challenge was all about the cinematography of Roger Deakins however, and I didn't see a lot of attention paid to that end. I actually really enjoyed this little film and it provided a few genuine laughs but it didn't meet the prompt quite as much as I would have hoped.

Laughing But Not Loving
This project, although funny, did not complete the prompt well enough for me to give it high marks. The teams were suppose to use the lighting techniques discussed in the seminar, Cinematography - Part 1, and demonstrate them in a short 3 min film. So although this made me chuckle a bit, it did not demonstrate that the filmmakers understood the cinematography of Roger Deakins. If it had, I believe this would have had a much higher rating.
