Grammy Reward Film

This film shows how important the art of PBJ making is to everyone. By showing how she spread the peanut butter and jelly shows us the feeling of how special she wants to make sure the sandwich is good. I hope that you win a Grammy each year, because of this film.

Made me hungry

I really like this short film. I was filmed very well, everything was so HD and I felt like when you scooped the peanut butter I could smell it. It was amazing how you turned something so regular into something so beautiful. I also liked the music and the way you added subtitles at the end to involve the hard of hearing. Overall I loved this as much as I love my favorite sandwich. I want to try PB&J with toast now because of this haha <3 good job!

Could've done better

I think the film was great, the editing was outstanding, and it was funny. I just think the music was a little too loud and the dialogue towards the end was unnessassary. I also thought the video was kind of pointless and dumb but, if you guys liked it, then good job.

The Art of the PB&J

Cinematography is all about art and I can tell that you were focusing on that very thing. I liked the angles that you chose and the way you shot to show that the making of the sandwich is a meticulous process for this person. I felt that you did a pretty good job there. I liked your effort there. Nice use of your depth of field. Now that you've got that down now really take your time with the polish of those shots. Make sure you pan is smooth and the action is deliberate. Keep making films.

Your Next Step Is Coverage

I like what you've done here from the perspective of cinematography. Now, to take it to the next level. Each of these shots that you've done you are super focused not he action which is great so how could you create even more focus to the most important actions. For example, the spreading of the P&J. Go in for coverage on that action. Other angles that are even closer that truly show the care she has for what she's doing. The actor didn't did really portray the care...so help her with angles.

What Makes it Sweet

Congratulations on doing a good job with telling the story you have through cinematography. You got some great angles and some nice depth of field. What would make it sweeter? Story. Spend a little more time developing the story. Here, you have a moment in time vs. the story with a arc and depth. This isn't easy but it's what makes films great. When writing ask a lot of questions. Why is she this way? Who is she? Where did this passions start? Questions will quickly add a lot of depth. Good Job.

Makes Me Hungry

I love how you took something so simple and made it a big deal. Some of these shots were really fun. You used the depth of field well. I think you could have had some slow-motion in there to increase the drama even more. The dialogue, in the end, was completely unnecessary. She could have taken a seat and just held up the cookie cutter and it would have worked every bit as well. You guys did a great job.

A PBJ Is A Very Personal Thing

No one can make the perfect PBJ except you. Taking something simple, like making a PBJ, can make for great fun in a film. I think the color treatment was a bit washed out or exposed incorrectly... not sure which. The story was there and it worked well. Congratulations. I don't think you needed the last part where you rolled the audio backwards on their dialogue... the audience gets what you were doing.

nice title, it doesn't reveal too much or too little

i think this film is amazing, the whole idea was brought to life very smoothly, and i loved the transition shots. i love the fact that it was more focused on the sandwich making, and that whole experience more than the dialogue or anything else.

Who Toasts Bread For a PB&J?

I really loved this one. Watching you make a simple sandwich could have easily been very boring, but the way you shot the scene was so impressive. I was hooked from the dramatic angles, better than decent sound mixing, and perfectly fitting music.

Aesthetically pleasing

I enjoyed the shots of the making of the pbj and some of the shot which fully in focus. In ending scene there were great use of depth of field when the actors were sitting together.
