Interesting hook and graphics!

average rating is 3.4 out of 5

I enjoyed the relatable angle of this PSA where there is a need to recycle because of adapting technology. Narration was precise. Some shots were shaky and could be framed better on the rule of thirds. The graphic zooming in at the end drew my attention in.

Turn those texting thumbs! into Green thumbs!

This film does a good job at conveying it's message on the importance of recycling. The voiceover at the end of the film has a very clear call-to-action. For cinematography, could use more attention, a lot of the shots felt very plain and static. For the editing, the cuts didn't flow very well, but overall the film was very informative despite its shortcomings in the technical department.

Great message, could use improvements technically

average rating is 2.3 out of 5

The message is crystal clear without any potentiality for confusion and the skit provided before the plug serves as a very good dramatic representation of the wasteful inefficiency of not recycling. Where the film falters however is in its technical aspects. The white balance is off in nearly every shot, many cross-dissolves are used in the edit which seem to serve little purpose, stock footage is very low resolution, and the audio quality all around leaves something to be desired.

A New Twist

average rating is 2.2 out of 5

I liked that you demonstrated a not-so-recycled item could be recycled. The facts you pointed out were great. I think you could have gone even further with them. My personal question about this topic is that the United States is responsible for a tiny fraction of the plastic in oceans. I would like to hear more about what we could do to encourage other countries to follow our lead? I would have also liked to hear about what these organizations were doing and what kind of success they have.
