A Cleaver Tale of Love
Nice writing here and the performances aren't bad which makes your story work quite well. You successfully pulled off a romantic comedy. A nice twist of events when you reveal that she, who seemed totally uninterested in him was the one that orchestrated the whole thing. It was a fresh and unexpected moment in your script. Now just up your came with making your film a bit more cinematic. Even though Ephron tends to be flatter you can still do some interesting blocking, angles and lighting.
Opposites Attract
The chemistry between the two characters really worked well. I liked how he was very excited about everything and she was the opposite. As they say, opposites attract and I think the filmmakers made great use of that concept. I really liked them both throughout, which I didn't expect. In the end, the film has a few technical issues, but these filmmakers have talent. I can't wait to see what they make next.
This Idea Has a Lot of Heart
There are a lot of things that really work in your film
-Nice depth of field on your side coverage
-There's a great sense of comedy yet at times you overplay it a bit. Keep it subtle and you've got something special
-your actors are really natural. Keep working with these actors but rehearse with them and you'll be amazed.
-some nice camera movement
Then there are a few things to work on.
-The audio is uneven
-Your editing could be a bit smoother.
Keep up the good work. You've got potential.
Fun little Story
This is a fun story with a creative edge. I did not see the twist coming.
Breakfast Club For Two
Okay, there are a few things I just loved about this project. First, the sound of her finger flicking his forehead was AWESOME! I laughed out loud. Second, the shot of them holding hands under the desk was great. And third, how she kept calling him Dork. This show is really sweet and I really enjoyed it. Some of the cinematography and focus could have been better and the editing needed some tightening. Still, I had a good laugh several times throughout.
