Be a Critic Every film here was made by a student who took a risk. Your job is to engage with it seriously — rate the craft, write something honest, and mean it. Scores are blind until all reviewers are in. Nobody sees anything until everyone has spoken. That's the deal.

The Verdict Every score you see here was written without anyone knowing what the others would say. No groupthink. No piling on. Five independent voices, revealed all at once. Read the reviews, not just the numbers — that's where the real feedback lives.

I love this little town. Makes me want to shoot a movie there. The story is all there from start to finish. The performances could have been more believable. The setups were well thought out and exposed correctly. I was a little confused by the girl he went to lunch with because she looked like our hero's twin. I can tell you did the work... it shows. Great job!

Good story, but slow starting off with limited dialog, basic VO.
A Great Concept

Great concept here, it just needs to be fleshed out further. It's a great idea to have two separate perspectives and that they're writing it down and that his perspective is changed by reading her. That's a really cool idea, it just felt rushed. Partially because of the acting being a little stiff, seeing that they're not really writing in their journals (took me out of it...my mind said...oh they're just acting vs. really believing them). Pay attention to the details, they make a difference.

It's about time we have a film where the stalker gets the guy. I actually felt for her. Love is always uncertain and it can hurt when it's not requited. Cinematically speaking, the blocking, lighting and composition could have been improved. I thought the script was well developed but felt a big jarring at the end... like the filmmakers were rushed to tie up the loose ends.
Deliberate vs. Subtle

You have a fun concept and the journal is a great way to move your story along. What took me out of your story was the deliberate actions and they over the top manner that your actors performed. Don't get me wrong, I thought that what you had them doing were great ideas but don't be afraid to play your scenes more subtle. If you watch the scene when Meg Ryan is stalking Tom Hanks in Sleepless in Seattle it is VERY similar to your scene. Study that scene to see how Nora did it. You're on the path.
