Every Minute Spent in Development Pays Off
I really like the use of actual locations to increase the scope of your film. Good effort there. Where I would have liked to have seen you put more time in would be in development to really flesh out your story quite a bit more. Your story as is, is underdeveloped.
Making Movies Is Hard Work
Regardless of the genre, making movies is truly difficult. You need a great team of people to help you. You need to be able to write, direct, edit, shoot and sometimes act. No one is good at all those. That's why you bring together a crew of people. I think this film would have benefited most by having someone passionate about filmmaking behind it. Someone who would be willing to really put in the time and effort to make it great.
An Interesting Dilemma
You have the premise of an interesting dilemma but you spent too little time in development writing the script. Your story lays out a few beats but it needs to be fleshed out quite a bit more.
Crumbling Mountain
This film has a good concept, but needs to work on camera movement and audio.
Crumbling Mountain or World Tour?
Making movies is crazy hard to do and it takes 1000% from every crew member to make it good. I appreciate all the hard work that went into this short film. I think the title should have been something to do with our hero's world tour or his desired Loan Wolf status. I didn't understand why it was called Crumbling Mountain.
