A Great Heartfelt Story

average rating is 3.4 out of 5

You've done a great job creating a heartfelt story. Nice opening and loved the jumpy editing in the time passage montage at the beginning. Nice usage of practical lighting (the lamp in the background and the computer screen to light her face. Whether you did that on purpose or not it was a great usage of practical lighting to light your character.

A Great Tribute To Grandparents

average rating is 2.9 out of 5

This film makes me think of my own grandparents. I suppose grandparents are the same everywhere. They have lived long enough to have figured it all out. I really felt like the strong point of these filmmakers was the writing. They really captured some great dialogue. The editing was also strong. I did feel like the sequences with the grandparents went on a little too long, but I enjoyed them.

Very Heart Felt

average rating is 3.4 out of 5

I really enjoyed your film. There's something genuine about your script that I liked. It felt poetic and artistic. It didn't really follow the normal thematic arc but doesn't make it wrong by any means. It did feel more like a commentary on love vs. a story with characters that progress through the story. It's not real Ephron but it's effective. I would have liked to have seen more care to the cinematography. Some camera movement, depth of field, softer lighting outside etc. Great job though.

Celosia Checks All The Boxes

average rating is 3.3 out of 5

This is just a really solid short film. It has wisdom within, which is far beyond the young filmmaker's years. It's very Nora Ephron and yet... traveled its own unique path. I really liked that about this project. It was a love letter to grandparents everywhere who have figured out what life is really all about. The editing was also very creative and motivated. Well done, and keep writing cause whoever wrote this is really got talent.
