Nice Message and Music

average rating is 2.5 out of 5

I really like the message you put in your story. I also thought you did a great job with your music at the beginning of your film (It seems that it was something that you composed). It really helped with the emotion of your film and I would have love to have heard a score throughout your film. I think it would have really helped your film quite a bit. It was so well done at the beginning that I wanted to see you do that throughout.

Words of Encouragement

average rating is 1.7 out of 5

You have the start of a good idea here. Having someone that changes peoples lives by writing letters can be impactful we just didn't get to see the effects of it very well. Keep your story in development longer and really polish it before you go out and shoot it. Really take the time to block out the story arc so that your story structure can really progress and be entertaining. Keep making films.

A Special Little Film

average rating is 2.7 out of 5

The best thing this film has going for it is the story. I really felt like the filmmakers landed on what could have been a really wonderful story, but spent too much time setting it up. I think it could have worked better if it caught up to this girl writing a letter from the beginning, not knowing who would find it. The the person who finds it really needed to hear what she had to say. It's a fantastic idea.

This short film is well written with great camera shots and angles.

A Special Someone Has Deep Messages

average rating is 3.1 out of 5

I really liked the concept of this short film. It pushed some buttons that Nora Ephron pushes, which is a good thing. I can tell the filmmakers have talent. The compositions were good but there were some focus issues as well as some exposures that weren't quite there. The big message of the show that is delivered through a letter, was deep, heartfelt but felt a bit rushed. The audio for the actors was pretty well captured and the shots were well thought out.
