Very Good!
i loved the feel of this film the acting could have used a bit of work but still a great story!
I Liked The Cinematography
I really appreciate it when filmmakers, especially young filmmakers, take the time to think about what they want their film to look like. There is a great deal of mood and tone that comes from the color of a film. I thought these filmmakers did a good job of selecting a color that fit the tone of their film. There were some technical issues now and again that would have greatly improved the experience however.
Rehearsals are Worth The Time They Take
You have an idea here that could work. Someone that is afraid to show who she really is but finally figures out that life is what it is and you are who you are so just make the best of it is a good message. You have a start of a story, you just need to work it quite a bit more in development. Also, really take the time to rehearse with your actors until their performances stop being stiff. Keep making films.
True Colors Has A Good Look
From the look of the opening shot, I was excited to see where these filmmakers were going to take me. They had treated the footage with some nice grain and color. The look didn't hold up on the interior shots however.
True Colors
This interesting story uses many different camera angles and color styles to tell the story
True Colors Is Well Exposed
The first thing that caught my eye about this project was the cinematography. It was well exposed and used depth of field well. I was a bit taken out of the story when she called the other girl, Soda Girl. I mean, haven't they been going out for a while? Doesn't she know her name? The performances were a bit shallow and could have been more believable. Still, I keep coming back to the cinematography. This team really did a good job with that aspect of the filmmaking process.
