Missing
Four high school lifelong friends all decide to sneak away for a weekend in Atlanta deceiving their parents all the while. As the night goes on, what seems to be a fun relaxing weekend in Atlanta goes down hill rapidly as each teen begins to go missing, one by one. As the friends arrive to their hotel room, they all decide to order some wings and jam out to some tunes. Richie volunteers to walk down the street and pick up the food. Meanwhile, Skyler, William, and AJ, put on some music and talk all the while. Eventually, time goes by, and they haven’t heard from Richie for while so Skyler proceeds to call him… but there is no answer. They all decide to group together and go search for him. William decides to run ahead of the two and proceeds to enter the elevator before them. Although, someone has eyes on William, and as he exits the elevator and runs out onto the street towards the wing restaurant, a camera captures his every move. Eventually, when Sky and AJ exit their trip from the elevator, they become concerned for William as well, and pick up the pace to go find both of them. They decide to drive, and AJ sees Richie has sent them his location… atop a parking garage. Little do they know that someone is tracking them. As AJ and Skyler arrive to the top, they find Richie’s phone mysteriously sitting on the ground. Running up to it, Sky picks up the phone only to find as she turns around, AJ has suddenly disappeared. Franticly, Skyler paces around and facetimes her dad. Sky tells her concerns to her father and admits everything what she and her friends were actually doing for the weekend, and how they had all gone missing. Her dad calmly tells her everything is fine, and his neighbors had seen her sneak out… he sent people to get her friends to teach them all a lesson. At this point, Sky is completely relieved and utterly ashamed, and then proceeds to head back to the hotel. Arriving, Sky quietly opens the door, only to find the room a mess and everyone still missing. Franticly, she phones her dad once more to tell him to knock it off. Her father is confused as to why she is saying all this… until she suddenly stops talking to him. Sky goes missing.

You guys did a great job with your cinematography. You moved the camera well and I really liked the color treatment you used. The banter was fun, but didn't help push the story forward. I think you missed an opportunity to help guide the audience through the story so the ending would have been more easily understood. The cuts were tight as well, which is uncommon in student films. Well done.

I enjoyed this film. Audio was easy to hear and videography was done well. Story was simple but really worked. Acting was a little forced.

I like the aspect of introducing the antagonist as a figure across the street only by allowing us to see his use of a spy camera and a hand on the cell letting his team know who was left . The cinematography was good. a little bit of depth of field could have added to some close up shots, and more over the shoulder when the group talked to one another in the room, i did like your dolly shot. Acting needs a bit of work as well as audio

There was a lot to like with this film. The story had a good premise, with a nice build up. The edits were smooth and appropriate. Music choices fit and helped set the mood. Good use of available lighting. Overall acting was good, though a couple of performances did not rise to the others. Good use of locations and the ambient lighting.

Technically not bad. Good sound editing. Maybe more creative editing and details of backstory to make it flow a little better?
