The Talk
In a futuristic world filled with endless possibilities, Kat takes on the challenge of mental health by creating a new product: AI therapy. Met with backlash by many, Kat stresses out before her big press conference, worried what the people will think. Harley, her close friend and supporter since the beginning, swoops in and helps her remember why this is so important to her. With the help and support of a great friend, Kat is able to walk into her press conference feeling confident and ready to change the world.

This is a feel good story with good production value. Wish Story gave a little more into the details of the AI.

There was some unique camera moves that were effective in telling this story. The direction felt a little distracted.
Audio was out of sync for the first half. Other wise good job on the short

The idea of AI mental therapy is an interesting one. I would love to have seen this idea played out a bit so we could see someone's experience with it, good or bad. There was some creative transitions in this project and an attempt to use some lighting in their film. I even noticed some ADR in there. Nice job!

Timely topic to tackle that felt like was scratched only at the surface. A little more about the characters would have helped develop story better. Transitions between scenes we awkward. Using depth of field was creative but not used appropriate. Lighting and sound mix were uneven and didn't really support mood. So many possibilities with this one.

I really like the idea of going after a story that speaks to the topics of the day. The only risk is that by the time your film comes out it might be passed but that's obviously not the case here and a short film is a quick way to get a message out. I liked your concept and would love to have seen a little more time put into development to really tease out the story and a bit deeper characters. The other element...really rehearse with your cast and you'd be surprised what a difference it makes.
