This project is really gutsy. The musical choice, the hard film grain, the bizarre characters... all of it makes for a lot of chances to fail - but it totally doesn't. These young filmmakers reached for something artistic that is almost unobtainable. This is something on par to how the Cohen brothers operate and it's brilliant. I hope they keep making movies cause this is quirky and fun, and we need more of that.

I liked the story and the cinematography for this film. Actors were believable and story worked. Wish ending was a little stronger.

The filter over the montage portion of the film was a little distracting with the black spot in the middle. The story flowed, the cinematography was okay. Audio needed work

Great style choices. I love seeing films where I can see that conscious decision have been made to tell your story and with your film I can see a lot of those small decisions of detail. Nice job. Great transition shots...the one on the car hood was great. You've got a story building here so all you needed was a little more focus on your development so that your characters, that you've done a great job establishing, are well developed in the story. Nice job. Keep making films. You've got talent

Nice film with very nice subtle acting choices. Not sure about the film grain choice. More distracting then enhancing. Some cut aways didn't make sense.

I have to admit, I didn't know where this film was going most of the time, but when it landed I was pleasantly surprised. It's not an easy thing to create characters and embody them in a way that makes audiences want to take that journey with you. This is a very Cohen Brothers type of tone and you did a great job capturing that.

These types of quirky tones are difficult to strike in the best of times, but without money or a complete understanding, this team has managed to find a quirky, odd little film that I really enjoyed. I loved the underlining tone and message of the film, and it simply resonated with me. Had it not been for a few technical issues in the exposure and sound, this could have easily won SkillsUSA 2023

This is a weird show... haha... and it pains me to say it, but it's one of my favorites. It has many technical issues that really detract from its quality, but I still like it. The exposures are often off and don't match, but the characters keep me coming back and wanting more.

If this team could have overcome the technical issues of making a film, they could have won this entire contest. It's hard to create a tone in any film, and that's what they've done. Work on your exposures, lighting and sound and next time your film will be 1000x better.

Okay... what the heck is going on here? This is an odd film that shouldn't work, but it totally does. If this team of filmmakers can figure out the technical side of the craft, they're gonna see their names in lights someday.
