It's a wonderful topic. The Mom character was played well and there were some great shots throughout. I feel like some of the exposures could have been better and this film could have used a sound mix, but overall it's pretty effective

Good story idea. Way to tackle a hard topic with a good film.

I like your concept here and I can see that it's starting to develop into something. I think that if you would have spent a bit more time in development to flesh out your idea here your story would have taken on quite a bit more depth. As is, it hit's the message a little too hard and the same message, "Mom's drinking and has a problem."There are some great themes in this but you could have teased them out a bit better. All that being said, I like your effort here. Nice opening shot. Loved it.

Really liked the story. But it felt like a 60 second commercial. The opening title sequence took 45 secs ads of films total run time with nothing really helping the story. Edits were appropriate if a bit redundant. Lighting inside the house needed work. Would have definitely helped enhance the mood you were going for.
