I Couldn't See Seen
I wanted to like this film a lot, but I had difficulty seeing it because the light was so low. I liked the writing and some of the acting was very natural.
Decent Story With Some Decent Acting
Shooting at night is always difficult. Without proper lighting it's impossible. I give you guys kudos for attempting a night shoot, but you should have had more lights available. The acting was pretty good in this piece. A couple of the performances really felt natural and I appreciated that greatly.
A Little Unseen
Cute story, even if script is a bit uneven. Volume not well balanced, especially in car scene. Some focus and framing issues. Lighting and sound a bit unbalanced and acting was a bit inconsistent. Real good idea though!
Breaking and Entering
Nice work. I like the scope of what you decided to tackle. It's always safer to not drive and film so good choices there. I would have like to have seen you put a little more focus on lighting. Shooting at night always gives you a great opportunity to really show off your skills but several of your shots were underexposed. Also really take the time to rehearse. That would have helped your performances along with having more coverage. Coverage allows you to cut for performance. Good job.
I've Just Seen Some Great Acting
The acting was the first thing that caught my attention in this piece. It felt more natural than most student films. Night shoots are extremely hard and demand lighting to open up the aperture. Otherwise you get the grain you see in this film. The sound could also have used a pass through foley and sound effects. I give it high acting marks however.
